Company History


McNamee Frame was founded in 2023 by Angela McNamee and Kathryn Frame who bring over 50 years combined clinical experience and 40 years experience providing medico-legal reports.


Both Angela and Kathryn have developed strong reputations within the industry over many years and their team of experts include highly experienced professionals who are well-respected within their field of practice.

Angela McNamee


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, The University of Queensland (1995)
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Member of Occupational Therapy Australia
  • Associate Member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance
  • Associate Member of the Medico-Legal Society of Queensland

Experience:

Angela has over 29 years of experience working in both metropolitan and rural settings across Queensland, in hospitals, schools, community and private practice settings. Her extensive experience spans orthopaedic conditions, neurological disorders, burns, spinal injuries, and workplace rehabilitation.


Angela is a trusted expert witness, with her testimony used as precedent in multiple cases. She has held leadership roles in workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation services and has  assisted hundreds of workers return to work after injury and illness.  Angela has also managed complex case management services for severely injured individuals and has provided ongoing expert medico-legal opinions across Australia.

Experience:

Kathryn has over 26 years of experience, providing occupational therapy services in hospitals, schools, community, workplace and private practice settings. She has extensive experience in medico-legal assessments and functional capacity evaluations, particularly relating to employability and daily living needs.


Kathryn has led interprofessional teams in major hospitals and private practices, ensuring high-quality service delivery. She has worked as an expert witness for over 15 years, providing reliable testimony in court proceedings and legal conclaves.

Experience:

Elissa is a highly experienced account manager and has worked with Angela and Kathryn for over 15 years. She has a thorough understanding of the medico-legal process and requirements for billing and payments.


With outstanding communication skills, Elissa builds strong relationships with our clients. She has excellent attention to detail and helps to ensure the operational efficiency of our business.

Anna Young


ANNA YOUNG

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, University of Queensland (1997) 
  • Evolving Health Leadership Certificate, Monash University (2022)
  • Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience:

Anna brings over 26 years of experience, specialising in paediatric occupational therapy. She has worked in a wide range of settings, including acute care, community health, and private practice, with a particular focus on neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, brain injuries, and neuro-oncology.


Anna has led occupational therapy departments in tertiary hospitals, ensuring clinical governance and quality assurance. In recent years, she has transitioned into medico-legal work, providing expert opinions and assessments for paediatric clients in complex medico-legal cases.


Anna is also currently an appointed Clinical Advisor for Occupational Therapy for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
